Jack or lift for servicing your bike.

I've had steel, aluminum, cheap, expensive and currently have 2 lift tables, but the J&S is the way to go. Yep, it is expensive, but had I bought one in the first place, I would still be ahead due to all the jacks I went through. I still use it all the time. Great platform for cleaning and wrenching. Even airing the tires (which is a pain on the Indian) is easier with it.

What breaks or goes wrong with the cheap lifts and jacks?
What I noticed is they start to rock more and more with time. The joints are not replaceable, like the seals. They do not roll over floor joints like the J&S. They typically don't lift as high. The J&S has better clearance around the bike. Just my $0.02.
