Hey all, I am switching my exhaust on my 2001 fatboy, I bought the bike with only the header pipes. The Screaming eagle slip ons were missing. My question is should I use a little loctite on the bolts when I put the new pipes on, removing the old pipes the bolts were not tight at all and could tell they didn’t use any or even torque the nuts down. They also had no gaskets in either front of rear cylinder. Some blue loctite maybe?

Not necessary. Heat might even make blue thread locker completely worthless.

Put exhaust gasket in, torque exhaust nuts to spec, another 100 miles or so double check the torque. It's an in-lbs amount, like 90 or 100 in-lbs. Doesn't take much and they shouldn't come loose.

Your bike will run better with exhaust gaskets and an exhaust system. Those down pipes look good, sound loud, but you lose performance.
