I have a 2005 Electra Glide Classic. Occasionally, I do work on the bike that requires the removal of the fuel tank. I have installed a "Quick-Release" on the crossover which allows me to do this with getting gasoline all over the place. In the last two years, I've installed 2 brand new in tank check valves (from Drag Specialties). The newest being installed this past November. This is the first time I've had to remove the tank since that time. The check valve (just like the one I replaced) is leaking like a friggin' sieve! Once again, just like the one I replaced. I can understand one maybe having a problem, but two??? Has anyone else out there had a problem with these? I'd love to know. I'm also letting Drag Specialties know of their inferior product.馃が馃が馃が

I've had those check valves leak quite often. Gooping the fittings up with fuel resistant lube before assembly usually solves that problem.
