I just purchased this bike two weeks ago and the bike wasn't ridden much at all. It has 568 original miles on odometer. I replaced all gaskets and re-jetted carb to run with after market pipes. The carb continues to leak from the black rubber CV boot(lookin thing) on the front wheel side of carb. Do you think the diaphragm at the bottom needs to be replaced as well and cure the gas oozing problem?

Float possibly set too high? Or float needle worn?

Try draining the float bowl and check for crud in the fuel.

I'm assuming this diaphragm was probably dry rotted from total lack of use and is the cause of my problem. should be an easy fix.??
