Got a Love's a quarter mile down the road from the local HD shop. Might have to go check out their gear if they have a similar selection and price. HD stuff is priced way out of sight right now.
Leather Jackets & Vests
On our recent road trip, wife and I stopped at a Love's Travel Stop (truck stop) for a break. They had leather jackets and vests for sale. I wasn't expecting much, since the jackets were $69 and the vests were $29. They are Buffalo Outdoors, and made in Pakistan, but the leather is thick and heavy. Both the jacket and vest feature gun pockets. Jacket has a zip out liner and vents for warmer weather. Got two vests (one for son) and a jacket.
Might check out one if you have one nearby.

I picked up on of these vest's a few years ago, before I started carrying full time. I like it but the leather àdjustment laces keep catching on my pistol. Maybe a shoulder rig is in my future...

Pakistan, I don't think I could buy a jacket to ride on my icon of freedom from a country that's an icon of oppression to save a few bucks. Locally made leather vests around these parts are only around $50. I'm sure there are plenty of nice people in Pakistan. There are also plenty of nice people who are my neighbor.
Most of what I've seen locally, even at the dealership, is made in China. Even then, they start at $100 and go up from there. Made in China leather jacket at the dealer is almost $600.

Your so called "icon of freedom" is made from parts from such bastions of freedom as China and North Korea. If you took all of the parts off your Harley that are made in countries where government oppression is the norm, you would not have enough components left over to make a mini-bike.

I've seen parts labeled from South Korea. Indonesia. Mexico. Even the odd bit from Brazil.
Wiring and front ends from Japan and lots of electrical from China ......... :think
Looks like a good deal to me.
Years ago I bought leather luggage in Mexico. Everyone said it would fall apart. Guess what, I still have it. The HD stuff is top quality but way over priced, just my opinion. If it looks and fits good, who cares where it's made these days? Enjoy it. Just my .02.
