LED Turn signals

Hey guys,
Riding a 2002 1200C and added the plug and play module from harley to allow my rear turn signals to run as Turn, Run, and Brake lights while using the stock single filament bulb. Today went up to Autozone to purchase some new bulbs (One was busted so I just changed out both for the Long Lift ones) and saw some LED turn signal bulbs that go right in place of the OEM replacement bulb. I was intrigued because it would give a ton of light and visibility. However, I am curious to know if it will work with the TRB module that I installed. Are LED's capable of being told to go brighter and dimmer?

Oz, thanks for the tip but not sure what you are advising me to look at there.
Look at their LED turnsignal inserts. Plug and play and will be much better than any bulb from the auto parts store.

They most certainly can snd do. Have a few heavy trucks in my fleet at work thst have all LED lights on the body, including the brake lights. Though these are four wire rather than olug and play, that is just a difference in the wire harness of the lught and not the vehicle. Just keep an eye on them over time. If 50% of the LEDs in the light are no longer work, DOT/LEO will give you a ticket.
I want to clarify that I know LED bulbs will work. My question is will the LED bulbs work with the module that will change the brightness constantly. The module is made for bikes wired for single filament bulbs that sends more current when necessary to get a brighter light for brake or turn. It works well with the good ole fashion incandescent bulbs. I want to know if the LED bulbs would work with that setup.

I went full LED on my Iron, which has run, turn, brake on the back. Since mine was a '14 I found out I didn't need a load equalizer (contrary to what my HD shop initially said) and it worked. I initially tried some plug-n-play 1157 bulbs, but eventually bought some Arlen Ness fire rings (which are also plug and play) which work well for me.
I am finding out that the only thing to do is buy them and try them out.

You'll need a load resistor to make them work. Other than that they work fine.
Thanks bob. As always, much appreciated. I'll look into this when the current bulbs burn out.

I suggested custom dynamics because if you call them they can answer your questions.

Could you just install the dual fitments to your Iron?
And did it all work with the security system ok?
Thinking of changing mine on the front of my Sporty
On Ness's website I did some research on 1156 bs 1157, and then ordered from JP. I just plugged them in, ran the hazards for about 2 mins to reset BCM (Custom Dynamics passed me that trick, and saved me buying an equalizer) and I was good.

I have factory security and keyless ignition and all is good!
Jumptoc we seem to be doing the same mods :)
just ordered my custom dynamics Bullet Rings
Cool! I really like my LEDs! Only problem I've had is with my run/turn/brake on the back...brake/turn wasn't too much brighter than running lights.

I ended up moving my license plate to the back and put on a custom dynamics LED frame as well...it really helped with my signals.
