I need to replace my rear pulley because it is worn badly.
I'm looking at a Roland Sands RSD forged aluminum replacement that is within a couple bucks of an OEM replacement.
I was warned that an aftermarket pulley wouldn't have a hardened surface on the teeth and wouldn't last much over 15K miles.
It seems the "chrome" coating on the original pulley was damaged when a stone passed through a while back and several of the teeth wore flat with a sharp edge damaging the belt.
Any personal experiences with aftermarket pulleys?
