Hi All
I have fore two months ago lost my key fob in the Woods, last Thursday I lost my second key fob!!!! as I was driving on the highway, it was run over and only my key and fob cover made it, what do I do? I can not remember my code:-(

(dealership says that I must have changed the complete alarm system, which will cost approximately $ 1,500)

It looks like a new system is in order.

If it were any simpler than that, it'd make the bike too easy to steal.

You had two chances and didn't take advantage of learning the procedure. Now it's time to shell out some $$ to the dealer either for a new fob or ECM.
With no fobs and a reprogrammed code.....you have an issue.

but I was not informed about any code before I contacted the dealer, I bought the bike used, without any user manual, if only I had the manual I also had the code, I just want to hear if I can drop the tsm module? or otherwise resolve the problem with simply replace tsm module? I do not need smart remarks, it's easy to give smart comment,
thank for the answer, "i just have to pay up " :-(( i had to ask before going to the dealer...
Maybe the code was never set. I think the factory default is 11111. Try it. It won't hurt to try.

If you get it unlocked, the dealership can sell you a new fob and program it to your bike.

Friends always give other friends a little crap when they're talking and helping each other out. Don't take offense to it. We're just yanking your chain a little.

Did the first owner change the code?
Do they have the code?

That's what I would try first.
Check the dealership where it was sold. They usually set all the bikes with the same code, it may never have been changed.........

Also, if you jump on as a brand new member it's always nice to introduce yourself. Next time your looking for a quick answer you may get friendlier replys.
it fine, I am just sensitive today:)

I'm just mad about not being informed about the code, when I lost the first fob, if I was informed I had used the other fob to get code
the bike is imported from California, I have spoken with the former owner, but he does not have the manual.
If you register at the H-D sight, you can view the manual online.

Sorry I hurt your feelings. If you knew the bike needed a fob to start, then you lost one........ Did you consider what would happen when you lost the other? Smart is thinking ahead.
Some other default codes used by dealers are: last 5 digits of serial #, or last 5 digits of serial # reversed. 0 does not work.
You might wanna try the old owners zip code also
im not an hd mechanic but i know both my dodge truck and my skidoo can both be programmed to a new fob with a laptop plugged in to vehicle and the proper software.....does moco not have this technology? call another dealership and ask

Yes, the MoCo has this technology, BUT the problem is with NO fobs around, the security system is now armed.

The security system must be DISARMED to add a new fob to the system.
Did the previous owner change the code that the dealer set? My guess is no. I would contact the original selling dealer and find out what code they set their bikes to.

no problems, I had a bad day, but I had just contacted the dealer when I lost the first fob and was not informed, I have now contacted everyone I know who run with fob and told them about the code, but I have to try to track the bike back, for code but will just try Standart code.

If you know the original dealership the bike was sold from try the last 5 digits of the dealer's phone number. That might work if the previous owner didn't change the security PIN #.
