On a 2005 Low rider how do you take the battery out? I tried what is say's in the owners manual and that doesn't do it.

What specific issue are you having? The cables do not pull forward much, but there should be sufficient room to pull the battery.

Not sure how the newer models are- but my 1980 had a "hinged seat to access battery, etc. My guess is you have to remove the seat then remove the cables and the battery will lift straight out.

The Dyna battery tray has a bolt on the left side that gets loosened and the tray will slide down so the top cover and battery can be removed.
Pull the Maxi-fuse before disconnecting the battery.
