I've just bought an 07 Heritage Softail Cl. I'm female, 5'5" and about 120#. I would like the best advice on lowering the bike where I'm completely flat footed. I think about 1" will do. Any advice is very appreciated. Thanks.

The advice I received when looking to do the same thing to a Road King Classic was to have the front lowered and then the back if you are not satisfied. I ended up with both using HD parts.

In addition to the preceding, if you can bump up your weight from 120lbs to 180lbs, that might lower the bike an extra inch as well.

Lowering 07 Heritage Softail CL Update

I finally got specifics and part numbers on what I need: Drag Specialties lowering kit for the back and Progressive lowering kit for the front. Apparently will lower up to 2", although I won't need that much. Thanks to all who replied to my beginning message.
