Made it back OK with the UHaul

I made it back OK from Dallas with the FLSTC in the UHaul -
Thanks for all the advice I got from everyone.

I did have to remove the windshield and mirrors, everything went fine.
Worst problem was one of the kids helping me load the bike rode it over to the trailer and left the switch on - so the battery was drained when I got home and I had to push the Softail up the driveway.

Hell if I would have known you were in Dallas, I would have bought you a beer or dinner

While you are in there charging the battery, throw a pigtail on it for the float charger.

Hell of a deal!!
Food for thought. .. if that is a newer bike. .. with a security system on it it has a trailer mode. .. with the bike moving I bet the bikes flashers were going nuts. .. that could of helped kill the battery.
Yep trailer mode would not be happy over a long haul, That is if yours has the security system?
