Alright Kainem, I did this for you buddy. I was issued a challenge by Kainem to see how Maple & Motor: Maple & Motor | Burgers and Beer stacked up to the "best of the burgers".

First off, it was HOT. I braved it anyways.

Easy to find, near Parkland Hospital.
Line was pretty long at 3:00 in the afternoon, not exactly a rush hour.

You can see what I ordered. It was way more than I suggest. The bacon & cheese tator tots had 2 forks, that should have been a clue. The Mexican Coke packed in ice at the counter was too good to pass up.

The tots were really good. Lots of real bacon crumbled on there.

The burger was great. Very thick. Cooked all the way though. I got a fried egg on there for good measure. Napkin count was nearing a dozen, so it was that kind of good. The bun was fresh. The mustard was a little overpowering. Too sweet for my taste. Next time I would have them hold the mustard and maybe use ketchup.

They do serve beer, on tap and in the bottle.

Defintely worth the trip if you are in downtown Dallas.

I never heard or thought of getting a fried egg on my burger. Sounds like a good idea and I will have to try it.

It's amazing what you can learn on this forum!

Not that I'm partial or anything but you should eat a fried egg with everything. They are healthy!

I'll definitely look the place up if I'm in the area Roy. I'm always looking for good ears!

Yes, eggs are nutritous. I love eggs most any way you can fix them. They are, however, a bit high in cholesterol and that's what keeps me from eating a lot of them. I especially enjoyed 2 fried eggs dropped on top of my biscuits & sausage gravy but, damnit, I had to give up the biscuits & sausage gravy years ago.

First time I had an egg on a burger was CA, it was called the 4AM burger. It had a cheese burger with a fried egg, bacon and hashbrowns.

Kainem and me hit the Off Site Kitchen last year and he asked me to try this place a couple weeks ago. Pretty close to being equal as far as taste. Both are fantastic.

Back on low carb today. I am at JC's Burgers in Plano (corner of Preston and Sam Rayburn 121)

I am having the Bemmy's Bunless and a cup of water. $7 with tax. It is outstanding.

A bacon, egg, and cheese burger is good for the soul. Tater tots on the side and a little buffalo sauce to dunk them in... mmmmmmmm.
