Mesa, AZ to San Antonio in Mid January?

Plane tickets are booked but getting concerned that it could be pretty cold! Any suggestions on where to stay and warmer routes? We have 5 days so we can get late starts if we hit bad weather. If we have good luck, we can spend most of our time riding around Texas. We got lucky last February and rode the old 666 route down from Alpine. Rode beside snow but had nice dry rodes. Best scenery so far.:feedback:

Ride the State Hwy System and stay off of the Interstates . :)

It may still be a little cold in the early mornings .
Couple years ago did the San Antonio to Corpus out to Padre Island down to Brownsville across to Laredo then back up to San Antonio. February is was 60s most of the time after about 10 am.

One thing was strange for me coming from Colorado desert was it rained every other day. Sometimes only for an hour but it was weird to see storms build that often.

Yes you do.

Was not biotching, I just threw on rain gear and kept going.

Though I was worried at first since getting caught in rain in early spring in Colorado means misery. Gulf moisture is warm.
