I've never heard of such a thing. I have a mesh "jacket" that I like to wear. I guess it would be the same thing.

I would think that a mesh pants and commando combo would be quite exhilarating.

I do. Here in Ga it gets too hot nearly to breathe. Mesh with body armor really makes quite a difference. I have a HD mesh, high-viz, jacket to match. The only problem is the fact that most of the mesh pants only come in black.
