Going just the opposite , this is what I traded my VMax for...and never looked back...

My impression of a V-Max is it could kill you quicker than a lot of bikes.

especially if you didn't have real good sense in the first place

...

Not to hijack this thread but just to clear up a few misconceptions...that's a Coronet R/T , not a Charger . I've had 2 VMax's and they ARE very powerful bikes , especially in the wrong hands . I always resect a motorcycle the way I respect guns and scuba diving . Guess I'm just an ' old timer ' when it comes to these things .

The guy I traded with is still around , and , that trade was made back in the late 80's...the Max is long gone but my hot rod is still out in the yard...
