No Ideas? Should I re-post in a different section ??? Just thought I would have heard something.
Mirror Mount Broke
Long story short, I got a buddy (really I do, its not me asking incognito) who's mirror was loose and over torqued it and broke the hollow stud off the bottom of the mirror. Any advice on fixing it? It is off an 09 muscle with the LED lights.
My initial thought was figure out how to remove the light or stuff the wires up the mirror stem. Then either drill and tap, or insert a heili coil so I could put a hollow stud with red lock tight in it and fish the wires back out. Sounds good in theory, but fishing for ideas from others who may have experienced it already.
