Happy Sundaze!!!

Have 2013 48 1200. new on this form. Not new to hard work. :).
I was sold on some redline at local bike shop by hot sale girl. Great stuff! And didn’t even check….dropped in the v twin Tran oil and noticed it wasn’t the primary oil the next day. Dopey!!! It did help the gear shift a lot better per was stinking a little before. Guess any new oil would have. Read few post with similar situation of adding wrong fluids. I have 30miles on it now. Should I do a dump and just replace with new redline primary oil. Or do a flush with lower grad primary oil and replace with new redline. (If so how many mile before dumping flush oil)
Lost the eye on the prize for a minute by hottie!! I’ll go back and ask for refund/lunch/wrench date!! Ha!!
Cheers! Ride on!!!

Nah...your fine. As long as you dont experience any clutch slippage. Some of the concoctions these guys run in thire Sportster primaries make me shake my head.I still run good old Formula+ in mine.
The redline transmission oil has friction modifiers. Not good for clutches.

If I'm reading right on what you got.

I would change it out and do it the right way - a quart of oil is not going to break the bank!
Thanks everyone! I did drop it and replaced it back with correct redline primary oil. Thought I had posted last Sunday, appreciate the feedback. I will run her a little and do another drop in a week . To avoid any problems. I don’t put a lot of miles during the week. I did see some bad pics of gunk up plates, reason for the concern. Thanks again!
