By changing to L.E.D. bulbs does this put more of a strain on your electrical system, also on the web site it says you might hav to change the flasher. Something about an electronic flasher to keep them from flashing to fast. I changed out my rear turn signal bulbs after installin a brake light modulator kit and they don,t flash fast. Any body know about this????

L.E.D.'s take far less juice to run not more. Because there is such little current draw your flasher has trouble detecting if the light is on or not so a dummy load or "load equalizer" is installed to return the flasher to normal. There are combo units as you stated but thats the general idea.
