Drove through the part of Moore hit by the tornado on Saturday to drop off some clothes our company had collected. The amount of help and relief work was amazing. Every corner had a huge stack of bottled water for anybody who needed it. All of the church parking lots were full of any kind of help one might need. A tire shop had set up a mobile repair site. There were medical tents where people could get. One was providing prescription medicine. One tent was a collection point for photos people had found. There were free veterinary services at another. I think just about every service the victims might need was there. When I arrived at the drop-off site, some of the volunteers were on the phone trying to find warehouse space nearby for five semi-loads of wheelbarrows, rakes, gloves and new clothes and shoes that were going to arrive sometime today. Moore, OK, is in good hands!!!

I lived through hurricane Hugo. It is amazing how a community will pull together in a time of need. Bless you for helping out. I remember how important that help was for us back then.

Wow..!!!
You actually made me cry! That is absolutely incredible. It makes me so proud and happy that people are out there doing these things. With all of the crap people talk about, it is so refreshing to hear some good things going on!!

Kinda like the first few days after 9/11. I was there on 9/14 and one of the biggest logistical problems was where to put all the supplies and workers that were showing up.

Not a bad problem to have.

It's when things are at their worst that we are at our best.

The destruction was unbelievable, but so is the relief effort. It made me very proud to be an Okie and an American.

+1 brother!!! I rode up to the Moore fb church last week for one of the childrens funerals. Escorting the family & keeping WBC away from them. It was crushing to see the damage but it filled my heart with pride to see all the bikers there supporting the families!!!

Yep, I wanted to be there to protect from Westboro also but my oldest son is having PTS and is worried I'll leave him....I wasn't there when the tornado barely missed the house and the days that followed I was always there...
