I have an '06 dyna with the 88/6speed setup. It needs more zap! I am tired of getting blown off.... Unfortunately it seems this bike is an orphan when it comes to options from the factory.

I was wondering if I could swap an '11 103 out of an Electra into the Dyna?

Any other possible suggestions? The 88 just isnt getting it done!

Thanks!

I run an '05 Dyna Super Glide Custom and went from the 88 to 95 big bore kit, cams, SERT, SEAC, V&H's Straight Shots, etc., etc. That woke it up for sure, but went from there to JIMS120 plus other goodies and can tell you it is endless when it comes to power in whichever gear you select. Mine is 5 speed but even in 5th gear with just a bit more throttle at highway speeds, it literally will pull out from under you. The JIMS120 is extreme and not for everyone, but very good compromise is that 95 Big Bore. It will give the bike a whole new outlook on life as well as the rider and yet very dependable and still retains decent mpg. Just a suggestion.
