I've recently put on an aftermarket air filter but I'm not sure if I've blocked the breather holes. There is a hollow bolt going to them but I'm not sure if the hole ate the other end has lined up. Everything seems to be working okay but are there any early signs that they are blocked. Thanks in advance.

Introduction before questions is the best way to get answers. More info needed. What brand, generally holes don't need to line up. Backing plate does the venting into venturi of throttle body.

You should let us know 'which' aftermarket air cleaner you are using...

The breather cavity in the head is 360*, no way for the hollow bolt to block it.
If the breathers are blocked the engine is going to develop leaks all over the place, especially around the rocker box gasket areas.
