^^^Thats a lot like asking what’s the best oil to use. Everyone knows unicorn oil is best, but for tires I would go with dumlump tyrannosaur hide. Hard to find but they last a million years. Or in other words, for your own sake do your own research and make up your own mind.

You'll get a bunch recommendations for Michelin Commander IIs or Dunlop American Elites.

You'll also get some recommendations for Metzlers and Avons as less expensive options. But the above two will end up being the most recommended.

Whooboy....OK so I have a No Mar tire machine.Tires on the front of trikes wear much quicker than on two wheelers. Wanting to find the longest lastiing front tire led me to experimenting with most of the major ( quality) brands. The end result is they all are pretty good. I think none of the major brands are making junk- just too much competition and reputation on the line. Sure theres the possibility of manufacturing defects- but most of the failures I think are end user induced. There are too many varibles- riding style, miles ridden everyday, road conditions, blacktop or hardball concrete etc. So what have I settled on? American Elites. Im not saying they are the best as the search goes on.

Just wondering for you trike guts, if you ever consider looking into the "Dark Side" of running car tires on your non leaning machines? Do a google search on the Delphi Dark Side Forum. With removing the lean, car tires kind might make sense

Im a simple man with simple needs. In my opinion the only place on a trike for car tires is on the rear drive wheels. I have no interest in getting into that debate- not my property not any of my business. The way I look at it the tire companies spend fortune's developing motorcycle tires so thats what I'll use.
