I added 4.5 inch pull back risers on an '11. No cable change needed.
New JP Bars, do I need new cables?
I have purchased these bars for my 2005fxdc for some winter upgrades. The gain in rise from stock will be 4.50in. From JP site reviews a lot of people said they reused the stock cables. Has anyone had experience changing bars and being able to use the stock cables?

I put Heritage softail bars ( roughly a 4" rise change as well) on my Switchback without changing cables. I'll admit that able other half inch may require new throttle cables though! it's darn close but I can move the bars 100% without a change in idle. good luck!
