I've been riding cycles for about 20 years now. Most of that time was spent on sport bikes and road bikes. About 6 and a half years ago, I decided that I was done with the sport bikes and wanted to continue riding in comfort and style. I sold the bikes that I had and upgraded to a 2008 Ultra. My wife looked at me like I was crazy because (as she stated) the Ultra is "an old man's bike". I was 33 at the time. That mindset didn't survive the first ride, when she quickly discovered just how comfortable and smooth of a ride that it was. Now it seems like I can't take the bike out anywhere without her.
Anyway, was looking for some info on a bike hauling system and one of my searches took me to this forum. I ended up reading thru quite a few threads, some related to my search and some not, and thought that this Forum would be something that is worth belonging too.
Welcome "Old Man" I wish I was as old as you. I'm 52 and ride a Sportster... I guess I'm trying to be a younger old man. I came to this forum after switching from Japanese bikes to my Harley. I've learned a lot form the people on this forum, I'm sure you will too.
