New to the forums but have been riding (on and off) since 1990. I am an Aussie living in New York State (NOT the city) and always wanted a Harley since I started riding. Harleys in Oz are/were fairly rare, and hugely expensive, so when I moved here in 2007 (long story) I grabbled the chance to buy my 97 FLSTC when she only had 5,000 miles on her - she spent most of her life in storage. Since then, I've put one or two more miles on her riding mainly solo down in PA and around NYS. My ambition is to take the bike to Ireland and Europe and spend time just "bumming around" seeing as much as I can ... one day maybe.
Anyway, now a days my riding preference is one up or with one or two others travelling the back roads and just cruising at 50 - 60 MPH enjoying the scenery and the freedom - always nice to have a mate (male or female) to have a beer with at the end of the day - where ever you end up
