New Old Guy

Greetings, I recently got back into riding. I rode for 20 years or so, and gave up Harleys for Corvettes. both are costly hobbies and I was tired of riding in all weather. The bike was my daily driver. I did not miss riding much until one of my old riding partners got in the position of having two Harleys. 03 Road King and 06 Road King. Well after many invites to go riding I took him up and realized what a joy it is to ride when you want to, rather than when you have to. When he decided to upgrade his 06 to an Ultra classic, he sold me that bike for trade in value. Win-Win for both of us. Not so much for the dealer.

So I have been riding again for about a year, only when I want, and when the weather is nice. Again what a difference riding when you want to, and the motorcycles are greatly improved as far as ride ability and maintenance.

Just got back from the York PA open house. Rode with 5 other friends and with the perfect weather, we rode about 550 miles round trip. A very good trip for all.

I will be looking for advice from time to time and events in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
