new-to-me heritage owner has questions

HI:
i bought a 2004 fuel injected heritage and will pick it up 8/15/14.
owner says it dyno'd @ 117 HP.
he sent me the build sheet that was done @ HD sev yrs ago.
the sheet does not say brand names or specifics of parts etc.
prev owner says it has 551 cams which are gear driven.
the sheet does not specify the 551's

one question is: can it be possible for that much HP output w/o having pistons that would be rated too much for the 551's?

the sheet does say "big bore kit", so does that probly make it a typical stage 2 upgrade?..

the cost for all work on that build was ~4500$

i could post the build sheet if needed

thanx

I would think with that much money in it he had a stroker kit or big bore and heads I would like to see his parts list and who built the motor. $4500 seems high for that HP I gained that with a TC88 and big bore kit with stock heads,&cams.
That price doesn't seem high( a lot of money...but not high with labor and parts)...I would be willing to guess it is 95"- 98" motor somewhere around there. To find out what stage...we needed to know if the heads were worked on as well... Sounds like it is going to be a fun ride!!!

You say your bike is OVER 117 hp with STOCK heads & cams???
I'll be the first to call B.S. (respectfully of course)
this is build sheet
With the work that has been done to the bike I can see it having the 117 HP. I did notice this work was done back in the winter of 05-06 and the bike only had 1700 miles on it. If it is still a low mile bike it should still have that kind of HP, but if it has higher miles on it the HP will start dropping.
Looks good bro! Welcome to the forum!!!

If I read right, the sheet only charges for labor.. All or most parts were separate charges.. So, build was way more.. I hope to get hold of Dyna session.
The sheet you posted was parts and labor. It gives cams, lifters, throttle body, head work, etc. Seems like the complete build bill to me.

They spose to dig up details and call me soon
