Need to know how to ask a question about my 2003 Road King. I was adviced by my back doctor to ride a motorcycle with a balaced engine. Is there a balanced engine made for my bike? It has over 100,000 miles by me. There is alot of clunking inside the engine. My mechanic says that it needs an over-haul. So I need to replace the enigine with a balaced one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. :)

I think I'm a little unbalanced over 54 years old . I've ALways been a half bubble off

Balanced engine are more for racing so they dont tear them selves .due to Harmonics and as rpm increase are that all the componts each weight as close to the same as each other , and also promotes durability and longivityof performance and internal Issues.
