Hi, I am a new rider in suburbs close to Chicago, Il. I am not able to ride much due to how quickly my '14 Switchback gets so hot. It only takes 10 minutes for my legs to feel on fire. Not mechanically inclined but not afraid to get my hands dirty to fix issues. Any help would be grateful!

What FritzHD said. You can put the heat deflectors on it. Plastic lil' shields that mount just below and in front of the seat. They keep the furnace blast away from the family jewels. I don't think i have seen an Ultra without em. I could be wrong? I am very grateful to whomever invented those!

Keep it moving as much as possible while it is running , it is air cooled.
City traffic , stop lights, and traffic jams are things your bike won't like.
