Ok I already know the stator's bad ( i have a service manual) my question is does anyone have the length of the sprocket locking link so I can make my own. I know I can measure with a tape and get close but an exact length would be easier. Thanks

Do you mean the adjustable rod that goes between the sproskets to lock them, to get the clutch and compensating sprockets off?

If so, use a shop rag and bunch it up and spin the clutch so the rag gets caught in between the chain and the clutch basket.

OR....I use a flywheel holding tool for a car, that you can buy at autozone for less then $20.
