Had to use my NOCO GBX45 jump box twice today. Not for my motorcycle, but for my truck.
Performed flawlessly, started my truck right up, and jumpbox was recharged thru my cigarette lighter USB power supply after about 5 minutes driving.

Using my NOCO charger in repair mode now to see if truck battery life can be extended a bit.

I have been thinking about getting one of the jump boxes. Have heard Noco makes the HD branded one.
what’s the general thoughts on them? They seem handy and could prove useful.

Those little punky jump boxes would not even budge my truck starter.
It started my 5.3L And my jump box is one of the littlest they make. GBX45. Only used one bar of power to start my truck.

The alternative would be to hope that you have your phone with you and call someone up to drive wherever you are and wait for them to show up to give you a jump.

I'd rather use a boost pack and be on my way in a couple of minutes. Probably less time than it would take you to call someone and wait for them to answer the phone.

Noco makes the HD jump boxes, chargers, and lithium batteries.

Noco has been around since 1914, and is an American company.

I'm glad this popped up. Might need to get me a fancy Noco jump pack at some point, but for the time being, I could snag that harness, would be great to have on that FXRST, because getting to that battery looks like LOTS OF FUN.

SAE tender lead is nice and all, versatile, but not for a jump start. And from what I gather, the EFI bikes can't be push started due to fuel pump (and even if you could, you're not always going to have a hill or someone strong enough to help you get 700 lbs moving fast enough).

Jump box on wishlist, will look into that battery lead tomorrow.

I'm telling you, It WILL NOT start my cummins on a cold day.
NO WAY.
What size diesel do you have?

Not that Harley makes any bigger than 8 liter Cummins powered motorcycles... 🙄

The lead is part # GBC007. I just ordered one to leave on my pickup. I also have one already installed on my LRS, but with Murphy's law, the vehicle I need one on isn't the vehicle that has one installed.

GBC007 plugs directly into the jump pack, but also comes with an adaptor (fused) that plugs directly into the Noco chargers as well.

If you order through Noco website, promo code CRT15 will give a 15% discount. Still works as of today.

Does the jump pack come with clips so one could clamp to a battery or in the case of HD the live terminal on the starter and a good ground??

Yes. The GBX series come with thin nose clips that would make it easier to use on motorcycles.

I want money back guarantee 💯 if it doesn't work!
Order it thru Amazon. 30 day returns.

All I can say is it worked on my completely dead battery on my 5.3L V8 GM, so it should work on my 131 CI V2 Harley.

I want to get one of these for the Lightning, ironic though that the little 12v battery in these trucks have on rare occasion STB due to a couple of issues with the BMS and a few trucks with a loose battery connector from the factory.

Mine is fine at the moment, confirmed my terminals are good and tight, but who knows what the future brings, having a way to top up the 12v battery enough to start the truck "engage the HVDC contactors" would be good as well.
