That's ok, I don't always read things through.
Changing the exhaust can affect the way it runs. Removing that plate will result in less reversion, which you call back pressure. Probably time to retune.

You could remove the whole exhaust and it would not cause it to bog at 10-15 mph in first. Not an exhaust problem

damn.. I do fabrication work and not so much mechanical. Was hoping to avoid having to take it in but looks like I have no choice, way over my head. Worried this will turn out to be a $,$$$ instead of $$$ repair. What sucks is she has just 7,000 miles on her.
