My HD data book says 2,359 FXSB's made in 1985, model discontinued for 1986. No mention of cast wheels on FX models until 1988. I have seen front wheels like yours, but don't know mfg.

 

Thanks. That is number I saw as well. Is that quite a limited run? I love the bike, easy to ride and sounds fantastic.

 

My book shows most 1985 models produced were in the 1,200- 4,000 unit range. FYI, '85 FXSB was designated "lLow Rider", they weren't given the Dyna designation until 1991 Sturgis Dyna. Opinions and data differ.

It is not a Dyna. It's an FX Low Rider. 4 speed trans kick and electric start, someone removed the kicker, solid mounted motor. It came with mags but not those mags. Same frame as on Shovel big twins.

 

Do you have a picture of what the original mags would look like?
