Riders triangle: bars, seat, foot rest. Could be one or all. Thats all I can do for you. The rest is up to you.

Would seriously love more information.
Riders age. Overall physical condition.
As ORD said. Riders Triangle. Sort of more like a pyramid in this case. Counting the ass.
If, he by chance did try carrying his wallet in either a front pants, or jacket pocket, it helped?

There's a reason Truckers, old Grey Beard Bikers, Chiropractors, Spinal Specialists do not carry a wallet in their back pocket.

I second this suggestion.

It's hard to find yoga programs that aren't all froo-froo and loonie toons—one program I know of that isn't is DDP Yoga (Diamond Dallas Page, the former wrestler).

That said, you don't need tapes/dvds or a program, you can find pretty much all the yoga poses and exercises online and find videos of them for free. Just ignore the hippy dippy parts and do the stretching. It works.

The wallet on one side can cause pain in the other, it's not a direct correlation. If removing your wallet from the back pocket doesn't help, there are lots of suggestions already given.

#11 Wai Lana videos work for me. All you need is a yoga matt unless you are doing it on carpet.

How old are you? Have you looked into getting a different seat?
I'm 66, ride an 18' Fatboy with a Mustang solo seat. I have two lower vertebrate that are shot and don't feel anything but joy, relief and stress-free when I ride.

Bead seat cover IMO. Gives your butt a massage while you ride and allows the gas to excape !

Maybe your wallet is too fat?! Stop by an HD dealership for "weight loss".

Try a different seat. If you have footboards, KuryAkyn has kits that will let you move them forward and out away from the drivetrain. Handlebars? That's another barrel of monkeys.
do you use heel shifter i was getting pain in left hip stopped using heel and my pain went

Try some daily stretching exercises (every day, not just before you ride).

Used to have the same problem. Went to PT for a different back problem and my therapist noted that I have limited motion in my hip flexers and hamstrings. She worked on them and I did stretching at home and since then it doesn't bother me anymore.

For stretches, try laying flat on your bed and pulling your left knee up to the right side of your chest and hold for 30 seconds. Do that three times and then repeat with the right knee for good measure. Over time, this stretches out your glut muscles and alleviates any knots. Roll a lacrosse ball (or use a back massager) on your gluts as needed. Might ask your ol' lady to help you too.. that can be fun.
