Don't worry about it.

Places get sued all the time for things like this. Doesn't mean anything is going away, it simply means that some whiney-pants, "I'm offended" suck-hole, had nothing to do and had access to free or low-cost legal filings and decided rather then to have his wife sterilized and not breed anymore stupidity, he'd file a worthless lawsuit, and see how much publicity he could get.

It says "In GOD we trust.....". Last I checked, EVERY religion has a God. Not just Christianity.

Here's a few other things they SHOULD look at, if you're gonna separate government and religion:

1.) Marriage. Its a religious bonding of two people. BUT, the County/State collects money for a marriage license.

2.) Divorce. A legal dissolving of said marriage, but it has to go through State courts, and costs a lot. (Cause it's worth it.)

3.) State sales tax on religious items in stores.

4.) Wine, used for Communion, has State tax on it.

5.) Porn. The women in those films yell "OH GOD!!" over and over, yet the industry pays out the yang in taxes.

This is how it happens, slowly a little bit each day the fabric of our country is being unraveled one thread at a time. And it comes to this.....

Remove In God We Trust? from our money.
Lawsuit demands US remove 'In God We Trust' from money | Fox News
Yep its been going on for a while now, that's how the aclu and freedom from religion group is able to gain traction. Some day there is gonna be a Judge who stands up for whats right. until then we are screwed.

Not advocating this in any way, but I have a bunch of currency in my collection that has no "In God We Trust" on any of them. Trying to remember just when that started, and I believe it was in the '60s that the government began printing bucks with that logo.
These anti-religion nuts pop up more and more often ever since that witch, Madeline Murray O'Hare started her crap way back when I was a helluva lot younger. Took prayer right on out of the schools, but somehow the schools are allowed to teach Islamic prayers and demonstrate the traditional Islamic garb for women, and not a word is ever said by the atheist groups. This is the mystery of the week. And that is PC and nothing but PC.

"In God We Trust" was always on money...real money..not the worthless pieces of paper that pass for money now-a-days .

Robert E. Lee is taking a double hit......

Robert E. Lee Elementary to Be Renamed over Public Objections

The name change was proposed in the wake of last year’s mass shooting incident in South Carolina, where Dylann Roof shot and killed nine members of a historic black church. Roof had posted a photo of himself online with a Confederate flag, prompting national discussion of the flag and places named after Confederate figures such as Lee. (On Tuesday, news broke that the United States Department of Justice will seek the death penalty against Roof.)

SDUSD describes Robert E. Lee Elementary School as “very diverse.” More than three quarters of the school’s population are Hispanic. The rest of the school is made up of several small minority demographics: “6.6% Filipino, 6.4% Multi-racial, 5.5% African American, 2.5% Caucasian, 1.9% Pacific Islanders and 0.3% Asian.”

Several other names were suggested for renaming the elementary school, despite community opposition to the change. Almost 60 percent wanted to maintain the name Lee Elementary. Only 28 percent preferred an entirely new name. It was only among the non-Lee community that respondents indicated a preference for an entirely new name. However, the non-Lee community, when given the option to keep the name as is, preferred that option.

Ultimately, despite several polling measures that indicated majority support for keeping the name Robert E. Lee Elementary, even within the primarily Hispanic school community, school administrators are moving forward with the process of changing the name.

Time for a bunch of administrators to be removed by this public they are ignoring and replaced with administrators that are willing to represent the ideals and sympathies of the public whom they represent.

Honestly, "In God We Trust" could be removed from everything, it's not going to change my beliefs. And anyone who gets upset that it's there is too weak minded anyway. I don't need the government to tell me what to believe or who to pledge allegiance to. So to me, the money is a non-issue. The pledge to an international flag, or changing the names of buildings, or writing historical figures out of history because they "did something offensive" is the bigger issue.

Don't worry about it.

I completely agree with this. You may be slightly sarcastic, but I'm 100% serious.
