Possible Pigeon Forge Trip...looking for Suggestions

So, it looks like may be heading to the Pigeon Forge area for a 4 night stay in a undisclosed hotel as of yet......looking for suggestions on things to see, not miss, rides, places to eat. Taking the bike of course.

The Dragon and Skyway I am aware of, but what else??

Looking like September "ish" for this to happen, I have a 4 day stay I have to use, at one of those "time share" deals.

Couple of POI's, opposite ends of the area in a way. Maggie Valley Wheels thru Time museum, and the Smoky Mt HD dealer in Maryville.

Not a bad road down there. I don't think there's a pot hole in the state of TN.
Awesome. We have 4 days to kill, so anything helps. Gotta be some good BBQ somewhere too. ...
I would recommend checking out the Comedy Barn, and the Lumberjack Fued, (I think that's what its called.

Check into a cabin. They are not that much more than a hotel, and its so awesome to sit on the porch and unwind from the day.

Steer clear of Bennett's Real Pit BBQ. It is absolutely terrible! They claim to have won awards, but if you've ever had good BBQ, you will regret it.

Another thing to avoid.... My wife and I heard about Cade's Cove Loop from a chick at the Gatlinburg HD store. She told us folks were seeing bears and elk so we decided to ride it on a rented Ultra.. Bad idea. It is a single lane paved road so you can only move as fast as the cages in front of you. Bike got super hot. Luckily I managed to get around the Ram that was holding things up (slipping the clutch and idling for about an hour and a half). When we turned the bike in the guy told me they would not have rented it had they known I would take it there. They have had many bikes overheat and there is no cell service there.
Highly recommend breakfast at the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge. Then feed the ducks after breakfast, they will eat right from your hand.

I don't get a choice in where I stay, I have to stay where they tell me.

Awesome. Thanks. Nothing worse than bad BBQ.

I pass cages, legally, or illegally if necessary.
Highways 28 North and South of 74/23 are good riding roads and 64/28 from Franklin, NC to Brevard, NC and you can make a loop if you take 276 from Brevard, NC through Waynesville, NC all are good twisties to ride. And, if you take 441 it intersects with the Blue Ridge Parkway at Cherokee, NC and if you ride it to hwy 80 that is a good twisty to ride also. There are a lot of good roads there for sure.
Go to the Dixie Stampede food and entertainment.

Wow. Thanks guys. That's the stuff I am looking for.
Apple barn restaurant and winery. Have a candy shop there as well.
So many great roads around there. The Cherohalla Skyway from Robbinsville, NC to Tellico Plains, TN is spectacular. Big elevation changes, all different kinds of curves, pull offs and unreal overlooks.
Dont forget on your way home, stop and well grab a bite. Just let me know when...

Yes I know and you were just being good because you were dragging me along.

The rally Thunder in the valley in Maggie Valley is going on the weekend of September 12,13,14. Have to check out the Smoky Mountain knife works. I can spend hours in there.
Stangs – you’ll be around the corner from Devils Triangle.
An awesome ride with serious switchbacks that rise the entire way thru; or fall depending on your sleds trajectory.
I very much look forward to riding it again one day.
Watch the loose gravel on the road near driveways. Safe travels, Brother.
Devils Triangle TN survive this hostile two lane adventure...
