Started as an occasional clank and or rubbing noise, just got the right clutch pushrod and changed throw-out bearing. Noticed the clutch plates were getting down to where they need to be replaced. Have 80 S&S case and a 4 speed tranny which we took the kick starter off. Has be running Ok except for constant clutch adjusting at both derby cover and cable which bu recently got the correct size pushrod as stated above. After I changed to belt from primary chain I started hearing a occasional rubbing noise and few times a clanking. Until recently it was mostly when it was cold or neutral to first or first to second. However got caught in a Bomb scare at Universal Studios and hit massive traffic. Clanking almost all the time. Is this due to just needing new clutch or possibly worse problem. Engine runs strong.
