So far starting in December, this is what I'm thinking about doing. I was thinking about a Springer front end, but honestly I doubt my body could take it. And to do it right would be about 2500.00 or so.

I'm looking into the following:
Progressive Suspension Standard Rate 422 Series Shocks with RAP | 162-245 | J&P Cycles
Progressive Suspension Softail Lowering Kit | 701-536 | J&P Cycles
Progressive Suspension Drop-In Front Fork Lowering System | 231-543 | J&P Cycles

When I was reading the instructions for the front end lowering kit (last link), they recommend that you lower the back as well (middle link). What I'm wondering is if I have the right part for lowering the back, and is it really necessary?

My project for this winter is a new 40'x30' garage to keep the RV, bikes, and trailers in. Right now the RV and trailers stay outside and bikes are in a bay in the wood shop. In the summer I roll them outside the shop if I'm cutting or sanding anything but way too much sawdust to keep the bikes in there in the winter.

the RAP system says it's adjustable down 1.5"....you can now buy me a beer with the $$ I just saved ya! LOL!!
....but , since you got everyone thinking about their winter projects..... just got a set of brand new jugs off egay to send out to Scott to have bored out to 98". gonna put a new gear drive cam in to go with it. might get some heads if the $$ is still there
