With a solo seat on the RKC a fender bib was in order. It has come in the mail and before putting it on there is just one question:

Would you put protective film under the bib even though the bib has a soft layer to face the paint?

I have an air box bra on my V with the soft backing and it works well except for the very edge of the bra leaves some slight marks. Maybe some film just under the edge or install a passenger pillion incase I need a lift.

I can see the edge being an issue. Good point.
