Can anyone recommend a good riding boot that can be resoled if necessary? everything I am seeing is molded bottoms. I would like to keep the local cobbler in business in the futre...

I have a pair of Chippewas steel toed slip ons that can be re-soled, abd I have a couple of pair of Thorogood steel toed lace ups that I use for work or riding and can be re-soled. The best thing about the Thorogoods is they're made in the U.S. of A...:thumb. I just put 3 hard years in refineries on a pair of Thorogoods, that I finally had to throw away. Local cobbler said they stunk too bad for him to re-sole 'em!

I wear my Danner Work boots. Have two sets. One pair of Acadia's that's about due to be resoled, and a pair of Ft. Lewis.
