Sounds like feed and return lines are backwards.

The ones at the filter. OR...they're backwards at the pump and tank fittings. If oil feeds opposite at the filter, it jams up due to the anti-drain back valve.

hello crazydog

what Transmission are you running? is it the 93 5 speed with oil pan? FLH or FLT?

if so there is a fitting right on the bottom of the oil pump that feeds the oil to the filter.
the return line is the one with the rubber hose .

on the back of the trans you have 3 hoses the very bottom hose goes to the bottom fitting on the oil pump.(FEED) the middle fitting goes to the oil filter (RETURN) line the rubber hose on top of the trans goes to to the crank case and the top fitting on your oil pump.
