My rear tyre is due to replacement soon. I have a 2001 Sportster (hugger). It has the stock HD Dunlop tyre 130/90 x 16.

Without any modifications to the swingarm, adding spacers, changing belt to a chain drive, can I comfortably get away with fitting a 140/90 x 16? I fancied a little more width, figured a 140 is probably as much as I can go?

I have my eye on a white wall set, any particular brand recommened?

I find the stock tyres are awful in even just slightly damp weather.
