Reccommend a windshield for FXD

I have an 04 FXD. My wife bought a quick detach from Harley for me. I like it fine when I use it.

Same here on my 04 FXDI. Have the HD quick disconnect. Pics in my garage if you want to see it on.

Memphis Shade makes a nice aftermarket QD Windshield for Dynas. Buddy has one n luvs it! Plus it really is quick and ez to attach/detach, unlike many so called QD product out there...

National Cycle Spartan worked well for me for the three years I had my FXDC. Nice on the highway.

Never got a scratch on it and plenty of road crap hit it.

Another vote for the Harley quick disconnect windshield. It's held up well no scratches and it works great with RainX. I added a set of Brukus Wingshields for my hands and wouldn't ride without either!

if you lived closer i would let you try my hd quickie from my 07fxdb- i dont use it ever

I just got a Memphis shades batwing fairing and 6 1/2 inch windshield for my fxsti,and love it the looks,the comfortability and you can have it off and back on in 20 seconds,SWEET :thumbsup

Wear a full face helmet and you won't have to ruin the clean looks of your bike with an ugly assed windscreen !

I have a tall Memphis Shades windshield on my 2009 Dyna Super Glide. If you want to reduce buffeting, they also make a wing that bolts to the top of the windshield. I only use a windshield in the winter.

H-D quick disconnect and I use it all the time.

Totally... I get it - I really do! :mooning:

I got to thinking... "what can I do that's within my power right now", and came up with something.

I loosened the clamps on the windvest and tilted it more upright... Testing it now, and my initial reaction is that it might be pushing more wind around me, since it's creating more resistance now. You'll have to check out mypic in the garage to see a before pic.
