Does anyone know what the best way to restore the looks of a black
set of heads?

Are these powder coated or painted? Any input would be appreciated
b/c I'm building a set of EVO heads and want to make them look as
good as new.

TIA. Matt

early EVO`s were painted, later ones are P/Ced.if you want them to look the best, powder coat them.i do my own powder coating, its very easy.eastwood has kits for about 100.00 (all you need is a electric oven,i got mine for free from menards)

Like prodrag said. Get the kit, you'll be surprised at how much more powder coating you'll find to do after you do the heads. A toaster oven will work for the curing.

i found to be EASIER than paint, ive done a bunch of custom colors of show bikes and a bunch of the wrinkle black that looks as good,if not better than factory

Agreed Soo S-100 is an excellent product but doesn't do anything on areas with damaged or missing black. It only rejuvinates black.
