Discussion Starter #4
I didn't mean to post such a short one line sentence. I'm looking to clean up the bars delete horn turn signals that's the easy part, looking to move the start\run and kill switch to the headlamp cover. Anybody done this and what switches did you use, thanks

The start switch needs to be a single pole, momemtary, normally open push button (although it could be a momentary toggle) switch and the run/kill switch needs to be a single pole, single throw, maintained toggle switch. Try Radio Shack, if not, Grainger. Make sure the contacts are rated for the load.

Almost any switch will work for the kill/run. The headlight needs to be able to handle at the very least 5 amps.

The starter should be at least 5 amps as well. 10 amp switches would fill the bill.

5 or 10 amp switches are readily available and should fill your need. Now you just have to decide on style.

Check out some of the suppliers out there like J&P.
They sell a starter solenoid cover with a push button switch in it for the starter.
That would take care of one of the switches.:nod

Go with a momentary toggle for the starter instead of a push button, It'll give it that NASCAR vibe!!!

There is a off,on.Momentary toggle switch on the market. All you would need is one switch.
