RG & SG fairing updates

I don't know how I feel about that RG fairing. Guess we'll have to see how it turns out in final production.

I don't hate it in the one photo, but I don't love it either. I think the current fairing looks better. I'm sure some of the design is for better performance of the fairing. I can't even pinpoint what I don't like about it.

The "sharknose" looks to have gone from one of a bull shark or something to like, a goblin shark. Maybe something about how that cover for the light wraps so far around. Like it kind of ruins the sleeker profile, visually.

Not a bad look for either one really. I also noticed laced wheels on both models it looks like.

Never liked the shark nose.
And the new bat wing seems to be headed in the same direction.

I like the BW. first inpression for thr RG is not too good. However, integrating the turn signals mat look more sleek in person. RG looks a lot like the diablo.. IMO

Looks like a Yamaha venture fairing with led lights.

I like both. Let's see if I still do when they hit showroom.

The RG Looks like the Indian fairing.

I like that it looks like they're finally getting off their ass and starting to use LED turnsignals.

I’ll be interested to see fairing comparisons. I’ve heard the current fairings tend to cause a lot of buffeting problems. You’d think they’d have figured that out by now.

The MoCo did figure it out. It's just that Harley owners are sticklers for the traditional, no matter how bad it performs.

You can lead a horse to water, but you cant force it to drink.

when did they figure it out? Do you mean with the current gen fairings?

The MoCo develops many technologically advanced things that they never put into production.

The more I look at the fairings, the more I like them with one small exception... while I like the integrated turns on the RG fairing, I'm not a fan of how they wrap around under the headlight. Looks fine when it's off, looks odd when the lights are on (from what I saw in the promo video).

I think that's my only gripe with the updates... at least from the front, I haven't seen the cockpit view. Though honestly, as much as I prefer the look of the RG over the SG, I never liked the look of the RG cockpit, the SG looked better from the seat to me. Not that you're going to be looking down all that much while riding.
