Dear Harley Friends.

Does anyone knows where to order the 77112-09 bracket and 77125-09 foam tape online?

My dealer in the Netherlands had attached the harness with velcro on my tank.... Said it is the proper way... Made an issue of it as it should be in the package but try to get one myself.

thnx. But I already checked that site and the partnumber is not recognized. Must be too new. Any Harley dealers, Harley factory members on the forum...?

OK, Did some checking around. The Kit part number is listed, but the parts in the kit will not come up . It's the way the computer ordering system is set up, no way around it. The parts are ONLY available to a Dealer, placing an order for them, not a stocking item .

The tape can be found at most any autoparts store, it's a 3-M product; double stick trim tape , thin not foam tape .

The steel bracket is really overkill if you use the 3-M tape, but it should have been in the kit anyway.

I'd go back to the Dealer and DEMAND what I PAID FOR . Sounds like either the Dealer used an open package , or the "tech" who installed it did not do it according to the install instructions .

Years ago, I had a similar problem with a Dealer not using the parts in a kit they sold to me. I had to get just a little bit irate with them to get my point across to them. In the end They came to see it my way .

Good Luck Sir . :)
I'll get back to them tomorrow, This dealer is closed on Mondays. Figured to check the forum in case they are unwilling to comply...

Okay, An update.. Just got a call from my Harley Dealer Big Rivers Netherlands. He told me that the velcro is as tough as the bracket and the bracket is no further support, so that is why they choose to do so.

Told them that I cannot understand that a mechanic is fitting an accessory without following the Harley instructions. Anyway... He is going to get the items for me in the USA, as it indeed should be delivered in the first place.

My bike was delivered first with the bluetooth module Sena SH10 console and the communication accessory port was placed behind the batwing. So originally they didn't need the bracket and threw it away. Now on relocation the did't have it anymore and used velcro. To me it is unbelievable that a Harley Dealer delivers it like this and can say it without bursting into tears: "that it is the way Harley would deliver it."

At least they are willing to work it out for you, that's something after all .

I know Dealers are few and far between over there, but maybe look for another Dealer when you get the chance .

I wish you good luck. :)
An update:
Got the Original Harley Items yesterday. Placed them myself on the Street Glide. Is is now how it should be. I put a piece of insulation between the bracket and the chrome so the chrome will not get damaged in due time by the iron bracket friction.

It seems to be the same problem all over the world. One dealer here in Germany told me, after I requested to get the instructions and unused parts, that the mechanics will dispose the instructions right away. I'm still waiting for some small parts these numb nuts lost.
I learned my lesson and will install all accessories by myself.
Ride safe

Goed geluk, jongen!
