i dont get it. unless the idea is to lay off fuel delivery/ rely on the transfer ports until the throttle is laid into hard enough to get into the main jet. its like this on my stock '87 XLH 1100 non cv keihin carb, and my buddies stock suzuki gn 400 cv mikuni carb. im thinking its a contributor to a driveability symptom im trying to massage out.
