What needs done to the SE 110 heads to make them work on top of a S&S 124 motor? Would they need a spring change for a cam with a lift between .600 to .650?

We use them on 124"s all the time, and they work VERY GOOD..........just sent another set on a 124" to Fresno.:)

we use 110 heads on most our 124"s.they flow pretty good right out of the box,but we have no problem getting 315+ @ 28" out of them.2.100 intakes are a good idea as is replacing the guides as the stock heads had a problem with guides coming loose.ditch the stock springs (SE springs have WAY too much spring pressure for 95% of applications),go with a set of .650 lift AV&V beehive springs

That is what we reccomend doing as well.
That head, once reworked, is a good 'un!:thumbsup

Yep.
They'll rip a big flow number on our SuperFlow flow bench here as well.
Great platform to work from.:thumbsup

Thanks for the input fellas. Am considering a 124 build in the future. Piecing things together. Got a set of 110 heads last week. I have a set on my current 107 motor and they do a fine job on it.
