Today was the first time i took my softail on the highway. I was always under the impression that cruisers were pretty much meant for them so when I got up to the traffic speed (70mph) the front felt a little shakey. I did feel planted to the road and it wasn't scary nor discomforting but more so something I've never felt before. Is this bc of low front tire pressure or is it normal?

Tire pressure checked before you headed out? If not get into the habit.

How many miles on the machine?

Fall away

Duncrap tire?

Front wheel bearings

In that order

Also must concider the condition of the rd, and how close you were following trucks and other vehicles. Buffeting on the windshield and fairing may have made the front end shake. But as others have said it should not shake.

So just came home from work about 60miles or so and realized that it might just be the buffeting from larger vehicles. I might however invest in a windshield and definitely some ear buds! Thanks everyone for your help!
